DATE OFFSET
Important!
When calculating the luminaire address remember about the initial offset equal to 400 registers for the
first luminaire.
The order of devices in the memory bank can be changed after the device restart and also if a
luminaire is added/ removed. For this reason, do not rely on the order of luminaires in the memory
bank, but use the SerialNumber field instead.
Important!
From software version 2.6 it is possible to enable luminaire sorting by short address.
When sorting is enabled, the luminaires will have the same order until they are re-addressed
(removing the luminaire, clearing the port).
Another difference is adding a fixed offset between ports (the bank has space reserved for 64
luminaires). Ie. luminaires from the first port start with address 400, from the second one 3600, and the
third one 6800.
REGISTERS FOR TRIGGERING ACTIONS IN THE VERTEX SYSTEM
The map of registers for actions triggered in the system is defined depending on the needs of a given
building. The configuration of actions to be implemented after the change of parameters in the register
is adapted on a case-by-case basis during the system programming by the ES-SYSTEM service.
The
Analog Output Holding Registers
allows triggering actions on the VERTEX device by means of
entering a value to an appropriate register. The register is assigned to an action using the VERTEX
Modbus block in the NodeRed application.
There is no rigid map of registers for actions triggered in the system. The map is configured in
the logic VERTEX engine, depending on the needs.
The configuration of the action to be implemented after a parameter is changed in the memory bank is
adapted on a case-by-case basis during the system start-up.
The designed or integrator can decide
which registers will be responsible for controlling individual groups in the system
.
Example:
Control of direct brightness level in the system
– GR 1, GR 2, GR 3
➢
The control of 3 groups will require 3 MODBUS registers from the Analog Output Holding
Registers bank
–
for example registers Nos 0, 10, 20
➢
In the VERTEX logic configurator, configure the
VERTEX Modbus
block to monitor for the
aforementioned registers.
