1. GENERAL INFORMATION

SAFETY

The document includes basic information about safety during installation and use of the VERTEX
system, symbols used in the manual, information about delivery and storage of devices and
requirements for the devices used in the system.

SAFETY HINTS

The system can be made only by professionals, taking into account all safety regulations. A damaged
or incorrect system can cause injuries and/or property damage.
The system shall be made according to the design, taking into account:

•

length of cables which must not be exceeded;

•

type and protection degree of connected devices which shall conform to the regulations.

The VERTEX control units can be installed in lighting switchgears or in separate enclosures in
switchgears.

Note!

The VERTEX unit controls the luminaires with light sources not replaceable by the user. The light
sources in luminaires shall be replaced by the manufacturer or its service representative.

DELIVERY AND STORAGE

DELIVERY CHECK

Check the consignment on delivery to make sure the packages are undamaged and complete. Unpack
immediately any damaged packages. Report missing pars of damage immediately,

otherwise you

will lose your rights for claims against the transport company

. Check also the address on the

delivery document.

TRANSPORT DAMAGE

Check the condition and completeness of the consignment. In case of visible transport damage, do not
accept the consignment or accept it only conditionally.

STORAGE

The device must not be exposed to impurities on the construction site, such as pebbles or dust. Store
in a dry and clean room at ambient temperature from 0 to

40°C. No vapour condensation is allowed in

the storage area.
