Program the operation logic
The logic connections are programmed in the NodeRed block programming language. It allows an
easy configuration of a device and the lighting system logic. The logic configuration is based on
creating the flow diagram according to the following pattern:
SIGNAL SOURCE
– DATA PROCESSING – SIGNAL RECEIVER
where the signal source can be a button panel, motion sensor, action from the calendar, and the
receiver
– a work group of VERTEX control units.
Important!
You need to log in to the nodes using the admin login and password.
MANAGE THE PROGRAM FLOWS
The Node-RED environment allows managing the control program by dividing it into smaller pieces
called flows. A good practice is to create separate flows for important parts of the lighting system (e.g.
by floors).

To add a new flow
– click the “+” button in the top right-hand corner

To remove a flow
– double-click a tab representing the flow and select
DELETE in a newly
opened panel
•
To temporarily disable a flow
– double-click a tab representing the flow, and click
Status in a
newly opened panel to the Disabled position
