GBF-50 Fryer

Setting the Cooking Temperature

Press the

[TEMP]

key

Use keypad to

enter cooking

temperature

setpoint (

F).

Ex: 325 = 325

Press the

[START]

key to save

setpoint.

NOTE:

Press the

[TEMP]

key two times (2x) to display actual oil temperature for

20 seconds

The default temperature unit is

The cooking temperature setpoint must always be entered manually; the programmable

Menu Item presets do not

include cooking temperature settings

Instructional prompts will be shown on the

upper display

to help guide you.

• If actual oil temperature is lower than the entered setpoint, controller immediately enters

PREHEAT

mode (small

red

HEAT

indicator on controller turns

). However, the heating elements will

NOT

actually turn

until the

HEAT Switch on control panel is placed in the [HEAT] position

At that time, amber

HEAT

indicator light on the

panel will turn

and oil begins heating.

• If oil temperature is already equal to or greater than the current setpoint, after

10 seconds

an alarm sounds and

the message

“SETPOINT REACHED”

is displayed. Press the

[ALARM]

key to enter

READY
