5.1 SERVICE PROGRAM MODE 

CAUTION

 

Before starting the SP mode, check that the data-in LED (

) is not on. This LED 

indicates that some data is coming to the copier. When the LED is on, wait for 
the copier to process the data.

 

 

5.1.1 ENABLING AND DISABLING SERVICE PROGRAM MODE 

NOTE: 

The Service Program Mode is for use by service representatives only, so 
that they can properly maintain product quality. If this mode is used by 
anyone other than service representatives for any reason, data might be 
deleted or settings might be changed. In this case, product quality cannot 
be guaranteed any more. 

 

Entering SP Mode 



1.  Press the Clear Mode key. 



2.  Use the keypad to enter “107”. 



3.  Hold down Clear/Stop for at least 3 seconds. 

 

4.  Enter the Service Mode. 

Exiting SP Mode 

Exit 

5.  Press Exit twice to return to the copy window.
