3 Place the sample on the grid.
It is recommended to:
• place the sample (A) face up on the grid and in the upper left corner at least 1
cm from the edge of the screen (B).
• put the top of the sample (A) toward the top end of the cassette.
• If exposing multiple samples to one screen, place the samples close together.
• align the lanes and rows of the sample with the edges of the grid so that the
scanned image will be straight.
4 Make a note of the coordinates of the upper left (B) and lower right (C) corners of
the area you want to scan. The grid coordinates in the Exposure cassette match
the coordinates in the
Typhoon instrument.
