Maintenance and checkout:

Checkout procedure

4. Short the gray wire (Marker Out) to the violet wire (Marker In) and

observe negative spikes in the R-waves of the displayed ECG
waveforms.

Tram module

1. Connect an oscilloscope to the

DEFIB SYNC

connector on the front

panel of the Tram module.

2. Test the ECG, Arterial BP, and Marker Out signals from the

DEFIB

SYNC

connector. They should resemble the waveforms in the

following figure. Note that there are two Marker Out traces shown.
The top trace shows the frequency of the pulses; the bottom trace
shows the pulse width.
