specified in the
Peaks for Last
field below. The bandwidth usage is
displayed either in Mb/s or as a percentage of the port's capacity. The
button above toggles the mode.
Note
: In tests with steady Ethernet streams, a small difference
between the line and drop ports will be observed even if no Ethernet
frames are discarded in any of the frame buffers or priority queues.
This is due to the overhead bytes on each frame (causing a 1 to 10%
extra bandwidth, depending on the traffic's average frame size).
Note
: The field is disabled if no SPE slots have been assigned to this
TDM pipe or the respective Topology field is set to Off or Linear-R/L
40
.
Connected To (Ring, Node, CBW Port)
For a port connected to a JMUX unit, displays the Ring #, Node #, the
JMUX unit position (left or right) and the CBW port on the JMUX unit to
which the given Line port is connected. The
CBW Port
reading
comprises two characters; the first one indicates the JMUX unit's
position, while the second one indicates the CBW port (A or B on the
86432-41 OC-3 JMUX unit; A, B, C, D, E or F on the OC-12/OC-48
JMUX Unit).
For a port connected to a cascaded ETHER-1000 or ETHER-100 unit,
the displayed Ring# and Node# are for the JMUX unit connected to the
other Line port of the cascaded ETHER-1000 or ETHER-100 unit,
while the third field displays “E1000” or “E100”.
Note
: The field is disabled if no SPE slots have been assigned to this
TDM pipe or the respective Topology field is set to Off or Linear-R/L
41
.
Alarm @
STS-1 Path BER threshold setting. An alarm condition is reported if
the threshold setting is exceeded in any of the received STS-1 SPEs.
