Top Port Red and Green
The top port is unused.
ALARM (Red)
A steady red ALARM LED indicates one of the following:
Xilinx FPGA did not boot
1.5 VDC from internal voltage converter is out of limits
5 VDC from internal voltage converter is out of limits
Paddleboard is missing
Unit temperature is high (>93ºC)
Internal 125MHz VCXO failure
Clock Loss (loss of clock on both Line ports)
Clock supplied from JMUX unit is out of range
A flashing red ALARM LED is seen when all the above (steady red ALARM LED)
conditions are OK and one of the following alert conditions exists:
A failure in th
e network‟s connectivity around the ring, i.e. the left-to-right
and/or the right-to-left path around the ring is affected;
An atypical behavior has been detected on one or more of the enabled
Ethernet drop ports, such as
-
Link Integrity Pulses are missing on RJ-45 ports
-
Fiber ports are not receiving a good optic power level
-
Reception of errored frame (FCS/CRC error)
25
-
Excessive collisions event (declared after 16 unsuccessful attempts
to retransmit a frame)
1
-
Late collision
1
-
Reception of an “illegal-length” frame (>1632 bytes, or with an
"alignment" error)
1
-
Intrusion alarm
At least one of the D-PVLAN VIDs assigned to local 'P-Trunk' ports (see
'Advanced' tab) is matching a static QVLAN membership assigned to
another local port in Q-Access or Q-Trunk mode.
Two or more local ports belonging to the same D-PVLAN are set for non-
compatible Port Types. All ports on the same D-PVLAN must be either
Dot1Q (Q-type) or non-Dot1Q (P-type) ports.

A single event is sufficient to trigger a flash.
