Chapter 3. Creating Data Recorder Files

DMS Go Operator’s Manual

Custom Grid
File

Reading Type

Set file style to Standard (normally recommended) or Extended.

Location Label Length Sets the maximum length of the label identifying each location.

Grid Labeling

Specify if rows and columns will have alphabetical or numerical tags.

Starting Row

Defines the number or letter assigned to the first row in the data file.

Ending Row

Defines the number or letter assigned to the last row in the data file.

Starting Column

Defines the number or letter assigned to the first column in the data file.

Ending Column

Defines the number or letter assigned to the last column in the data file.

File Name

16 character file name, set using the virtual keyboard. No two files in the DMS Go memory
may have the same file name.

Units

Selects either inches or millimeters as the unit of measurement

T-MIN

Defines the minimum thickness limit. Measurements below this limit cause an alarm to signal.

T-MAX

Defines the maximum thickness limit. Measurements above this limit cause an alarm to signal.
