Warranty
G arland C ommercial Ranges , Ltd. ( “ G arland” ) covers this product ( the “Product” ) for defects in material and workmanship
under normal use and service for a period of two ( 2 ) years or 84 , 000 cycles , whichever comes first. The Product warranty
coverage commences from the date the Product is installed or six ( 6 ) months from date of shipment ( unless stated
otherwise ), whichever comes first.
S haft seals are warranted for 1 year or 42 , 000 cycles , whichever comes first. Replacement shaft seals will be warranted for 1
year or 42 , 000 cycles , or until the end of the Product warranty , whichever comes first.
During the warranty period , G arland agrees to repair or replace , any part that proves to be defective in material or
workmanship at no charge for the part or normal labor unless otherwise specified in this warranty.
EXCLUSIONS:
The following items are not covered under the warranty:
1. Any wear items with less than a two year life expectancy are considered perishable and are not covered under
warranty.
2. Failures or performance issues caused by improper electrical supply or erratic voltage outside of UL guidelines.
3. Normal annual or performance maintenance ( as covered in this manual ) and cleaning are not included in the
warranty and are the responsibility of the end user.
4. Damage or problems due to unauthorized modifications or alterations to the Product.
5. Damage or problems caused by accidental or intentional misuse , alteration , abuse , or neglect.
6. Use of non-approved parts , materials , tools or accessories without prior written approval from G arland. Use of non-
approved materials , accessories and cleaning tools on the cast iron cooking surfaces will void your warranty.
7. Damage or problems caused by improper operation , cleaning and/or maintenance procedures.
8. Damage or problems caused by fire , floods , storms , or other acts of G od that are beyond the control of G arland.
9. Additional labor charges resulting from the inaccessibility of equipment. If a G arland FA S has to spend in excess of
30 minutes cleaning the grill before warranty work begins , this will be charged back to store. Additional estimated costs will
be reviewed and approved by the store prior to commencement of the work.
10. Installation and adjustments if not conducted by a G arland factory authorized service agent/company ( “FA S ” ) are
not covered under this warranty.
11. Products where any permanently affixed labels , warnings , data plates or the warranty serial number affixed to the
Product by G arland have been defaced obliterated or removed.
12. This Product is intended exclusively for use in a commercial indoor restaurant kitchen only. Operating unit outdoors
or in a non-restaurant setting , including but not limited to food trucks or mobile restaurants , will void the warranty. No
warranty is extended for personal , family , or household purposes.
To comply with the provisions of this warranty , a G arland authorized FA S must perform the warranty repair , and an
acceptable report for any claim under this warranty must be supplied to G arland.
G arland assumes no responsibility for travel costs beyond two ( 2 ) hours and 100 miles/150Kms , travel other than overland ,
and overtime costs of repair.
G arland will only cover the cost of the parts replacement or repair and/or associated labor.
This warranty is exclusive , limited and is in lieu of all other warranties , expressed or implied. NO IMPLIED WARRANTY OF
MER C HANTA B ILITY OR FITNE SS FOR PARTI C ULAR PURPO S E S HALL APPLY. G arland , our employees , or our agents shall not be
held liable for any claims of personal injury , incidental or consequential damage or loss.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights , and you may have other rights which vary from S tate to S tate.
