POWER ON / OFF SWITCH
• Power Switch turns the appliance ON (green light on)or
OFF (green light off ).
• NOTE:
• For extended shut down or idle periods, turn the
main power switch “OFF” “0” position, and unplug
the electrical power cord.
❷ ROUND GREEN PUSH BUTTON—COOK START/
ABORT
• Press round button to start cook cycle.
• Press and Hold to abort a cook cycle.
• Press to raise or to lower the platen.
❸ easyTOUCH CONTROL
• Computer program to cook, control and monitor the
functions of the appliance. See section: easyTOUCH
Controller.

CAUTION
Touch Sensitive Control Interface
The controller is sensitive to touch. Do not use
utensils or cooking tools to navigate the menu
screen.
DO NOT HIT THE SCREEN.
If the glass is crack or broken, STOP and TURN OFF
the appliance immediately. DO NOT touch any part
of the screen or inside the control. Contact a Factory
Authorized Agency immediately.
Sequence of Operation
1. After pressing the power switch ON (left illustration,

green light on), the controller (

is started and the
grill will go through initialization.
2. While grill goes through a calibration process, the platen
(or lid) may rise and lower.
3. Grill platen (lid) will rise to open position after
initialization.
4. The HOME screen will appear on the display screen
❸ .
5. When user touches Press&Go icon, the upper platen is
lowered automatically.
6. Upon completion of the cook cycle and after
preheating, the upper platen is raised automatically.
NOTE that the upper platen remains in the lowered position
by nature of its own weight. It is not locked down.
Under no
circumstances, other than safety, should the platen be
manually opened.
