Upgrade and Maintenance Manual

Basic hardware procedures

Release the positioning clip (1) after the designated position is reached.

Move the left rail towards the front side (4) while holding the positioning clip
(3). The mounting aid must lock in the corresponding hole.

Release the positioning clip (5) after the designated position is reached.

Figure 26: Tightening the M5 screw

Tighten the M5 screw (6) on the front side of the rail.

Repeat this procedure to install the right rail.

4.11.4 Lift the server into the rack cabinet

CAUTION!

At least two people are needed to position the server on the rack rails.
