The procedure to create an iSCSI host group is as follows:

Click [Add iSCSI Host] in [Action].

Enter a host group name to be created, and select a host response to be
assigned to the host group.

iSCSI Host Group Name
Specify the host group name.
An existing host group name cannot be specified. Refer to
adding iSCSI hosts" (page 619)
for details.

Select a host response to be assigned to a host group.
The host response list created in the ETERNUS DX Disk storage system is displayed.

Registration of the host is necessary to create a host group. Create a
new host group when registering a host on GUI.
•
One host cannot be a member of several host groups.
•
Assign an appropriate host response to the created host group. The
host response configures the operation mode which is appropriate to
the host.
If an appropriate host response is not configured to the host group, the
path may not be switched correctly or the volume may not be
recognized correctly.
