Acute Care calculations
The Acute Care calculations are part of the licensed Acute Care feature. Results from Acute Care calculations
appear in the Acute Care worksheets (see “Worksheets and reports” on page 5-52).
You can perform any of the following calculations, in any exam type. Distance measurements are in mm.
WARNINGS

To avoid incorrect calculations, verify that the patient information, date, and
time settings are accurate.

To avoid misdiagnosis or harming the patient outcome, start a new patient
form before starting a new patient exam and performing calculations. Starting
a new patient form clears the previous patient’s data. The previous patient’s
data will be combined with the current patient if the form is not first cleared.
