Common Settings
In [Common Settings], you can make settings relating to the machine’s common
features. The following shows the reference section for each item.

On the [System Settings] screen, select [System Settings].
For the method of displaying the [System Settings] screen, refer to "System Settings Procedure" (P.100).

Select the item to be set or changed.
Audio Tones
Select whether or not to sound an alarm, for example when a job ends or a fault occurs.
Line Monitor Volume
You can relay the sound that you can hear on the telephone after you dial a number until the
connection is made through the speakers on the machine. This is convenient for using
Facsimile Information Services without using the telephone.
You can select the volume from [Soft], [Normal], and [Loud]. To disable the sound, select
[Off].
Ringing Volume
Select the sound to be made when an incoming call arrives at the machine.
You can select the volume from [Soft], [Normal], and [Loud]. To disable the sound, select
[Off].
Reports
These settings relate to printing reports.
Print Report Button
Select whether or not to permit printing reports only in [User Mode] of the System
Administration mode. Selecting [Disabled] displays the [Print Report/List] and [Error History
Report] buttons only in the System Administration mode, under [Machine Status] > [Billing
Meter/Print Report].
For information on [Print Report/List], refer to "Print Report/List" (P.141).
Job History Report
You can select whether or not to automatically print a [Job History Report] when a total of 50
jobs have been processed. All jobs are automatically listed on the printed report.
Activity Report
Select whether or not to automatically print an activity report when a total of 100
communication results have been obtained.
Transmission Report - Undelivered
Select whether or not to automatically print a transmission report (undelivered).
