6.11.2 Pre-programming the Pump

Warning

If the prime function is set as "Not displayed", and if the quick-start is 

triggered, an undesired bolus may occur in some cases. Always select 

the automatic prime function for life-sustaining drugs.

You can program the pump before installing the syringe.

1.

Press

 to power on the pump.

Syringe installation !!!

 is displayed on top of the pump screen.

2.

Make sure the syringe barrel clasp is folded up against the pump.

The

3.

4.

Program the infusion.

See section 6.5, page 35.

 to confirm.

When ready, install the syringe.
