Manual scaling
a. Click
Graph properties
on the graph toolbar to open the
Graph properties
dialog.
b. Select
the
Scale
tab, and choose the axis you want to scale in the
Select axis
drop-down menu.
c. Uncheck
the
Autoscale
check box and enter the new values in the text box.
d. Click
OK
.
e. To manually scale a specific axis, right click on the axis to open its Properties
dialog.
f.
To restore auto scaling click
Autoscale
.
The stretch/compress axis tool
a. Move the cursor onto one of the graph axes. The cursor icon changes to the
double arrow symbol (
↔
), indicating that you can stretch or compress the axis
scale. Drag the cursor to the desired location. Repeat the procedure for the other
axis if necessary.
b. Double click on the axis to restore auto scaling.
4. Panning
a. Use the pan tool after zooming in to see any part of the graph that is outside the
zoomed area.
b. To do this, click
Pan
on the graph toolbar, then click anywhere on the graph
and drag the mouse to view another area.
c. Click
Pan
a second time to disable the Pan tool.
5. Edit the Graph
a. Use
the Edit graph
dialog box to select which data sets to display on the graph’s
Y-axis and to change the X-axis from time, to one of the data sets.
