RADIO OPERATION

Volume and power control

Press the central button on the unit to turn
on or off.

Rotate the central button to adjust the
volume.

Sound settings

Press the SOUND button adjacent to the
screen to access the audio settings.

The 

FADE

 control is used to adjust the

sound distribution from front to rear.

The 

BALANCE

 control is used to adjust

the sound distribution between the left and
right speakers.

The 

TREBLE

 and 

BASS

 control adjusts

the high and low audio frequencies
respectively. These settings may be
customized for each source.

The 

LOUDNESS

 control boosts the lower

frequency range at low volumes to achieve
a fuller sound.

Note:

Some fade control is not adjustable

during an active voice output by the system
or during a phone call.

Equalizer settings

Touch 

EQUALIZER

 to access a further

menu:

Note:

A second press of the SOUND button

will also switch between the main sound
settings menu and the equalizer options
menu.

Compression

With this feature on, quieter music is
boosted and louder music lowered to
minimise repeated volume adjustments.
Turn this feature on or off by using this
menu setting.

DSP presets

Select the music category that most suits
your listening preference. For example
select 

CLASSIC

 if you are listening to

classical music. The audio output will
change to enhance the particular style of
music chosen.

Optimize

This feature takes into account the
differences in distance from the various
speakers in the vehicle to each seat. Select
the sitting position for which the audio is
to be correctly enhanced.

If no particular seating position requires
audio optimization, then select the 

ALL

option.

Selecting a waveband

Press the RADIO button.

Touch the required waveband button on
the left side of the touchscreen. Each band
can store up to 5 preset stations.

Note:

Keep pressing the RADIO button to

scroll through the available wavebands.

FM AST is the autostore waveband. Using
this option you can search and store the 5
strongest radio stations for your area.
Touch the 

FM AST

 button and then touch

STORE

 to activate this feature.

Note:

You can also touch and hold 

FM AST

to perform autostore. Press and hold the
RADIO button to activate the same function.

Tuning

Seek tuning

To automatically tune press the seek
up/seek down buttons adjacent to the
touchscreen. The next available station
will be selected.
