Boiler room ventilation
The boiler has sealed combustion chamber. Combustion air is not drawn from boiler room or area surrounding the boiler therefore
specific recommendations for ventilation in the area of the appliance is not required.
It is mandatory to install the boiler in an adequate room following laws and standards applicable in the country of
installation, which are considered as fully transcribed in this manual.
4.4.4. Flue
The following guidelines indicate the general requirements for siting balanced flue terminals. For GB recommendations are given in
BS 5440 Part 1. If the terminal discharges onto a pathway or passageway, check that combustion products will not cause a nuisance
and that the terminal will not obstruct the passageway. If a terminal is less than 2 metres above a balcony, above ground or above a
flat roof to which people have access, then a suitable terminal guard must be provided.
