Data sent/received with Infrared communication
*
When all phonebook data is received, the first item is registered as Profile and the data other than phone number
is overwritten on Profile.
･
When all data from Phonebook is sent/received under PIM lock (Profile), the profile data is not sent/
received.
･
When sending/receiving Phonebook data etc. with images under PIM lock (Multimedia), the images are
not sent/received.
･
Still image/movie/i-motion/melody cannot be sent/received with "Send all" or "Receive all".
･
Up to 9 two-byte (Full Mark) and 18 one-byte (Half Mark) characters can be sent/received as the title of
still image/movie/i-motion.
･
Up to 18 two-byte (Full Mark) or 36 one-byte (Half Mark) characters can be sent/received as the title of
melody.
･
When sending/receiving 1 entry of Phonebook, it is registered as Group 0.
･
When Phonebook data is sent from FOMA terminal of other manufacturers, group numbers bigger than
20 are all registered as Group 0, on SA800i.
Operating Infrared communication

Make the receiver side FOMA terminal ready to receive.
･
Place two infrared data ports in face to face and make distance/angle between two ports within
approximately 20 cm/approximately 15 degrees from the center. Keep the FOMA terminal pointing at the
infrared data port and do not move FOMA terminal until all the data has been sent or received.
･
Communicating screen is displayed during Infrared communication and the icon blinks. Do not put things
between the FOMA terminals or do not move terminals until the sending/receiving is completed.
