Remove the rear cover, a special screw and then the battery pack.

•

The battery pack is not charged full by default. Be sure to use specified AC adapter (optional) or DC
adapter (optional) to charge the battery before using FOMA terminal.

Reminder for charging

Effective usage of the battery pack

Use the battery pack exclusive for FOMA terminals.

•

For details on handling the battery pack, refer to the battery pack manual.

•

In the extremely low, or high temperature such as in a closed car, battery power reduces, allowing
shorter time for use. Also the battery pack life would be shortened. Use in normal temperature, as far as
possible.

•

Battery pack life is limited. When the battery pack is charged, but not recovered the original power or the
battery lasts only for limited time, the battery pack life is expired. Purchase a new battery pack of the
specified type.

•

The battery pack life is approximately 1 year. However, life span may be shortened depending on usage
frequency.

Mount the tab of the rear cover to fit to the groove
with approximately 3 mm gap, and slide the rear
cover until the click sound is heard.

Insert your finger into the gap next to the screw hole,
pick up along to the arrow direction and remove the
battery.

•

Follow the same procedure of attaching, to
remove the rear cover.

•

Follow the same procedure of fixing, to remove
the special screw.

•

The metal terminals of FOMA terminal may be damaged when forcing to mount the battery pack.

•

Fold FOMA terminal when you mount or remove the battery pack.

•

You can use the terminal without fixing Battery pack with the screw.

To promote environmental conservation, be sure to return your used battery pack to
NTT DoCoMo sales outlets, our corporate agencies or the shops that collect used
battery in your community.
