Using Nuisance call barring service
Reject calls from specific callers automatically.
Calls from the registered phone number as the
nuisance caller are rejected with the guidance of
call rejection.
•
Up to 30 nuisance calls can be registered.
• Nuisance call barring service is required to optional
subscription. No monthly charge is required.
• Nuisance call barring service cannot be accessed
out of service area or under the poor radio wave
conditions. Operate FOMA terminal under the better
radio wave condition.
• A call is disconnected with the video guidance
indicating Call rejection, if receiving a video-phone
from the registered phone number .
•
When activating each service of Voice mail/Call
waiting/Call forwarding/Caller ID request/Public
mode (Drive mode), the call from registered phone
number is disconnected after the guidance of Call
rejection (video guidance for Video-phone). Also
History such as Missed calls, or Notify icons are not
displayed.
Registering the phone number received
last as a nuisance caller
Registers the phone number of the last call as a
nuisance caller.
•
Missed calls or received calls connected to Voice
mail center is not to be registered.

Deleting registered phone numbers
Phone numbers registered as nuisance calls can be
deleted all at one, or only the last registered number
can be deleted.

• Note that specifying a PBX, pager

or facsimile
machine as the forwarding destination may cause the
false impression to callers.
• When a new call is coming during a call (or under
packet communication), the call can be forwarded to
the forwarding destination.
• Refer to P68 to forward the incoming call by manual.
• Ringing time setting is saved after change of the
forwarding destination or deactivation of the service.
• You cannot register 3-digit phone numbers such as
toll-free phone numbers, Quick number or emergency
calls as the forwarding destination.
• The phone number received before subscribing to
Nuisance call barring service cannot be registered.
• International phone calls may not be registered to the
nuisance call list.
• Phone calls without Caller ID can be registered as
nuisance calls to reject.
• Phone numbers registered as nuisance calls cannot
be confirmed or inquired. It is recommended to make
a note of the phone numbers registered as nuisance
calls to reject.
