You can copy the Phonebook entries, schedule events,
ToDo items, mail, free memos, and bookmarks stored in
the FOMA phone to the miniSD memory card.
You can copy a single file from the FOMA phone onto
the miniSD memory card. A copied data item is saved as
a single file.
You cannot copy the secret code stored in a Phonebook
entry.

When you export all data in “Schedule” or “ToDo”
When select the schedule events on the Category List or miniSD File
display, select an item you export.
Schedule . . Saves all data items from Schedule to the miniSD memory
card.
ToDo . . . . . Saves all data items from ToDo to the miniSD memory card.
All . . . . . . . Saves all data items from Schedule and ToDo to the miniSD
memory card.

p When you copy mail containing links to launch i-
α
ppli, the information
about launching i-
α
ppli in that mail is deleted.
p When you export a single file stored as secret, the file is copied as the
data released from Secret.
p When you export all files, the files stored as secret are also copied.
p When you export all the Phonebook entries, the contents of “Own
number” are also copied.
p For copying mail, some files attached to mail may be deleted
depending on file format.
p
You cannot write data on the miniSD memory card protected using a
personal computer or other devices.
p Do not switch to Viewer style during exporting. If you switch to Viewer
style, exporting is suspended.
p During exporting, the FOMA phone is placed in the same status as it is
out of the service area, so you cannot make/receive calls, communicate
using packet communication of i-mode/mail, or do data communication.
When you use the miniSD memory card for the first time,
you need to format (initialize) it. Be sure to use the
FOMA P901iTV for formatting. The miniSD memory card
formatted using other devices such as personal
computers may not be used properly.

You cannot operate while another function is working.
p Do not remove the miniSD memory card during formatting. Damages of
the FOMA phone or miniSD memory card could result.
p Do not switch to Viewer style during formatting. If you switch to Viewer
style, formatting is suspended.
p When you suspend formatting, the files that have been saved on the
miniSD memory card become indistinct.
p
You cannot format the protected miniSD memory card or incompatible
memory card.
p The Call/Charging indicator flickers in green while formatting the
miniSD memory card.
p If you press ( ) or during formatting or if you receive
a voice call or video-phone call during formatting, formatting is
canceled. Format again.
p Required folders are automatically created when you save data to the
miniSD memory card after formatting.
