23. Troubleshooting
Even though the model and the remote control system were built with the latest available technology, there can still
be malfunctions or errors. For this reason, we would like to give you some information on how to deal with possible
problems.
Transmitter doesn’t respond.
• Check the batteries in the transmitter and replace them in necessary.
• Check the polarity of the batteries (observe plus/+ and minus/-, see label in the battery compartment of the trans
-
mitter and on the batteries.
• Check that the transmitter is on.
The transmitter turns off straight away or after a short while.
• Check the batteries in the transmitter and replace them in necessary.
The range between transmitter and model plane is very low.
• Check the batteries in the transmitter and replace them in necessary.
• Interferences in the 2.4 GHz range will reduce range. This may be caused by other flight models, as well as by
devices with WLAN or Bluetooth, etc. Choose a different location for flying.
The model doesn’t respond.
• Charge the fight battery.
• Check the plug connections at the model.
• Perform binding between transmitter and receiver again, see chapter 18.
Charging takes too long.
• Check the direct current source, the charger and the rechargeable battery in sequence and replace any parts that
are defective.
