10.4 Assembly of the progressive cavity pump
NOTICE
Assembly of the progressive cavity pump is done in reverse order of disassembly.
NOTICE
For assembly between the stator housing and the stator, make sure that the groove of the stator is
positioned in the lug of the stator housing.
NOTICE
For assembly between the closed mechanical seal and the shaft, make sure that the pin of the
closed mechanical seal is positioned in the groove of the shaft.
NOTICE
Before reassembly, the fitting and sliding surfaces of the mechanical seal must be lubricated with
a suitable lubricant.
NOTICE
The lubricant must come into contact with the medium during pumping and must therefore be
suitable for mixing and have the appropriate approvals (e.g. for food).
