Notes: On the 268XA PAI, channels 1 and 11 can measure 300V while the other channels can measure
only 150V. When configuring for 4-wire ohms, only channels 1-10 can be used; channels 11-20 must be
OFF or a device dependent error is generated.

Description: Query the measurement function, range, and number of terminals for a channel.

Parameters: <channel> = 1xx, 2xx, 3xx, 4xx, 5xx, 6xx (where xx = 01 – 20)

Response: <function> [, <range> [, <terminals>]]

<function> = OFF, V dc, V ac, OHMS, FREQ, TC, THERM, RTD
<range> = 1, 2, ... 5, AUTO
<terminals> = 2 or 4
<thermocouple type> = J, K, …
<check OTC flag> = 0: don’t check; 1: check

<coeff. a> <coeff. b> <coeff. c> = Coefficients used in Steinhart-Hart equation

<R0 value> = RTD resistance at 0 degrees C

[alpha value] = Alpha coefficient for custom (non-standard) RTD

Restrictions: Not allowed in calibration mode.

Notes: None.

If the channel is not configured or the input module is not installed, this query returns just OFF.

When <function> is OFF, <range> and <terminals> are not returned.

When <function> is FREQ, <range> is always returned as AUTO.

When <function> is V dc, V ac, or FREQ, <terminals> is not returned.
