2.2 Parametrizing
The CPX terminal with field bus node CPX−FB23 can only be
parametrized with the handheld.
Parameters of the CPX terminal
You can set the reaction of the CPX terminal as well as the
reaction of individual modules and channels by parametri
zing.A distinction is made between the following parametriz
ings:
system parametrizing, e.g.: switching off fault messages,
etc.
module parametrizing (module and canal−specific), e.g.:
Monitoring, settings in the event of faults, setttings for
Forcing
A description of the functions of the individual parameters
can be found in the CPX system manual.
Which module parameters are available for the various mod
ules can be found in the manual for the relevant module (e.g.
manual for CPX I/O modules (P.BE−CPX−EA−..).
An overview of the standard parameter settings of the CPX
terminal can be found in appendix A.3.
