Black-out System Installation

Tensioning of the corner cables and monofilament wires (installed later) puts lateral pressure on the greenhouse end
walls. Blackout purlins reinforce the structure lengthwise, and help to prevent end walls from bowing inward.

Install blackout purlin components as shown in diagrams below.

KEDER SEALING CHANNEL AND MONOFILAMENT

WIRE CLIPS MUST BE INSTALLED BEFORE INSTALLING BLACKOUT PURLINS.

If those components have not

been installed, return to those instructions and do so before continuing with blackout purlin installation.
