The thawing time and state due to defrosting
varies depending on the use conditions,
such as the operating ambient temperature,
trap dehumidification, etc.
If ice will not be released from the trap bath
inner wall by one defrosting, either attempt
defrosting again or pour hot water to thaw
ice.
Depending on the use conditions, such as
high ambient temperature, few trap amount,
etc.. the protector may be activated to stop
defrosting before 90 minutes pass or before
arrival at 20
℃
.
Do not collect 300 mL or more water
in the trap bath.
Caution
Take utmost care not to collect 300 mL or
more water in the trap bath.
Otherwise, water may leak to cause failure
of the vacuum pump and system and electric leak.

8) Defrosting
Keep pressing the [Def] key for three seconds or
more. The “Defrosting” lamp goes ON, and
defrosting begins. In this event, the refrigerator and
vacuum pump stop operation automatically.
Simultaneously with the stop of vacuum pump, the
safety valve (leak valve) operates to return the trap
bath to the normal pressure.
※
To interrupt defrosting, keep pressing the [Def] key
again for three seconds or more.

At end of drying (stop of operation) or immediately
after defrosting, remove the drain plug and prepare
for draining.

After defrosting, confirm that ice is released from
the trap (by pulling up the trap barrier). Then, keep
pressing the [Def] key for three seconds or more
and turn it OFF.
・
Once released from the trap bath inner wall, ice can
be removed with the tarp barrier.
※
If the amount of ice is small, it may not be removed.
※
The time for ice to be released from the trap bath
inner wall is about 70 minutes.

Do not attempt defrosting for purposes other than
thawing of ice.

In about 90 minutes after the [Def] key ON or when
the trap temperature reaches 20

is turn OFF (automatic stop), and the “Refrigerator
and Defrost” lamp goes OFF to inform that
defrosting is stopped.

If the trap temperature remains 20

, defrosting
will not begin.

Procedure after operation
When the system is not to be used for a long period of
time, turn OFF the power switch and leak overcurrent
breaker and disconnect the power cable.
9) End of operation

Turn OFF the power switch.

）
Check the inside of trap and drain any
defrosted water through the drain valve.

Cautions for use
】
When using the optional dry chamber, the functions of
"4. Automatic Operation" cannot be used. Use the
functions of 5. Manual Operation.
