7-2 Operation test of the leak breaker
Insert the power plug. With the leak breaker ON,
press the leak breaker test button with a rod with fine
tip.
Normal if the breaker is activated, then turned OFF.

7-3 Oil control of vacuum pump
Replacing the cartridge
The oil condition of vacuum pump governs the arrival
pressure and pump life. To maintain the pump
performance, always control the oil condition by
checking the oil level and oil contamination through an
oil gauge window.
If water enters oil to raise the oil level. stop operation
for a while and drain water through the pump drain port.
This will help improving the arrival degree of vacuum
and extension of the operation time to a certain extent.

For the vacuum pump with oil filtration
In the vacuum pump with oil filtration , replace the
cartridge (see the vacuum pump operation manual) or
change oil at around 500 hours.
Note that replacement must be attempted earlier in the
following cases:
・
Water entering the vacuum pump causes the oil
level to approach the maximum value.
・
White or brown turbidity is observed

For the vacuum pump without oil filtration
The target operation hours for replacement is 250
hours.

The arrival degree of vacuum is faulty, which is
considered due to oil

Regardless of whether oil filtration is attached or
not, continued operation with the oil level
exceeding the maximum value may cause
damage to the vacuum pump.

Never fail to perform an operation test
for ELB.
Operating the product with a defective ELB
might cause an electric leakage and an electrical
shock.
Be sure to perform operation test at least once a
month.
