3. Setting the options
Insert two set screws temporarily to the
threaded points (two diagonal points on the
inside) of option fixing plate.
Place the manifold while aligning its center
to the trap center.
Place the holding plate on the manifold while
aligning the central concave of the plate to
the vertical pipe of manifold.
Turn the holding plate and set the set screws to
the notch on both ends of plate.
Tighten set screws (2 points) lightly.

Set the trap barrier to the trap as shown in the figure
right. The trap barrier has functions of allowing
freezing evenly over the inner wall and of removing
ice released from the trap inner wall.
2.Setting the trap barrier

The adapter to be set to the front end of cock is
separately available. Prepare the adapter appropriate to
the intended use.

Take care not to apply excessive force to the manifold
after fixing. The manifold may be displaced from the
trap packing, resulting in failure of increasing the degree
of vacuum.

The holding plate of Model PMS-4A secures the flange
of manifold. Secure the manifold to the FDS-1000 main
body and turn the upper port to adjust the direction.
※
Where the amount of defrosting is small, ice
cannot be taken out with the trap barrier.
