Setting the Embedded Audio Frequency

On units fitted with the 7750TG2-HD Test generator card there are 4 identical menus to set the audio
signal for each of the audio channels in the group selected by the

HTG Audio Group

menu item.

On units fitted with the 7751TG2-HD Test generator card there are 16 identical menus to set the audio
signal for each of the audio channels in each group. The individual audio groups are enabled using the
by the

HTG Aud Group

menu items.

For the sake of simplicity only the menu item for channel 1

is described in the manual.

menu item is used to select the Audio signal that

will be embedded into audio channel 1 of the audio group selected by the

HTG Audio Group

parameter.

Selecting one of these signals will set the frequency of the tone that is
embedded into this channel.

The Audio tones will be embedded on the Test output only when the

HTG Audio Output

menu item is set to

HTG audio on tst

or

HTG audio on

b&t

. The black outputs will contain mute embedded audio

when the

HTG Audio Output

menu item is set to

HTG audio on blk

or

HTG audio on

.

Enabling the Embedded Audio

These menu choices are only available on units fitted with the 7750TG2-HD.
