OUSAF21 Measurement Detector/Filter Replacement

The detector assembly is attached to the sensor with a threaded window ring. The detector assembly is removed
by unscrewing it off the window ring. Removal of the detector assembly does not break the liquid integrity of the
sample cell.

After removal of the detector assembly, unscrew the detector endplate from the detector housing.

To replace either filter, remove the retaining screw on the detector, and carefully remove the detector. Remove the
o-rings in the cavity and gently tap the filter out of the detector block (note: the “mirror” side is directed towards
the light source).

Replace filter/detector in reverse order.

After detector/filter replacement, the detector assembly may require alignment and the system to be re-calibrated.

Sensor Wavelength Change
Should it be required to change the operating wavelength of the sensor, both the measurement and reference filters must be
changed. When changing filter wavelength, follow the same procedures as describe above.
