1.
Switch off the PlasmaQuant PQ 9000 and recirculating chiller
from the mains switch (see section "Switching off the Plasma-
Quant PQ 9000" p. 47).
2.
Put a bucket in place and unscrew the filter cup (2) clockwise
from the water filter (1).
3.
Remove the filter cartridge (3) and rinse it under running wa-
ter. Replace the cartridge if necessary.
4.
Re-assemble the filter cartridge and cup.

Replacing the argon hose
The hose for the argon supply to the nebulizer may become discolored. In this case, the
hose can be replaced:
1.
Press the blue ring on the plug
connector up and pull the hose
down.
2.
Insert the new hose into the con-
nection.
Note:
The plug connector is not yet fitted on older devices. It can be retrofitted by Ana-
lytik Jena service personnel.

Maintenance of the autosampler ASPQ 3300
Contamination on the sample tray and the housing can be removed with a dry cloth on a
daily basis as required. In addition, if required:
Replace the pump tubes
Replace the cannula and the suction tube
Clean the wash cup after overflow
6.3.1
Replacing the cannula and the sample tube
The cannula and sample tube can be ordered ready for use. However, it is also possible
to replace both separately.
1.
Switch off the autosampler ASPQ 3300 at the power switch.
2.
Disconnect the connection between the sample tubes of the autosampler and the
PlasmaQuant PQ 9000.
3.
Carefully pull the sample tube from the tube guides on the autosampler.
4.
Unscrew the cannula from the holder on the autosampler.
