B-112 Installing additional memory

User's Guide

To install the new SIMMs

Note: If you are installing two SIMMs:

•

Install the bottom one first.

•

The SIMM in the top slot MUST contain AS MUCH OR MORE

capacity as the SIMM in the bottom slot.

If necessary, remove the plug from the SIMM socket.

SIMM slots are at a 45 degree angle. Place the SIMM straight into the

connector.

Slowly push the SIMM down until the two side clips snap into place. Make

sure the SIMM is fully seated.
