7.  Press the UP ARROW until the display reads:

 

 

8.  Load D-Size paper with the 36" side up against the rollers on the 

Platen. 

9.  Press ACCESS CARTRIDGE.  The Carriage will move out of the 

Service Station. 

10.  Install a new Tri-Color Ink Cartridge and a new Black-104 JET 

Cartridge, following the procedures for Cartridge installation in the 

CADJET 2

 User’s Guide. 

 
 

 

11.  Press ACCESS CARTRIDGE.  The Carriage will automatically 

return to the Service Station.  Press MENU.  The display will read:

 

 

CAUTION

 

Do not ever wipe the ink Cartridges with any highly fibrous 
materials like tissues or paper towels.  The Service Station 
automatically wipes the ink Cartridges. 

NOTE

 

Note:  1.  When installing the Black Cartridge, refer to Figure Chapter 6 

.4.  Make sure that the Indexing Edge completely slides 
under the Carriage Overhang.  Hold the Cartridge down while 
pressing forward, and keep pressure on the Cartridge while 
turning the lever up to lock the Cartridge into place. 

 

2.  Do not push either Cartridge down AFTER the lever has 

been turned up to lock the Cartridge into place.  When the 
lever is turned up, the Cartridge will automatically be put into 
the desired position for the best contact with the Flex Cable.
