2.14.4 CALL DELAY
To avoid false telephone alarms (e.g. if you have forgot to deactivate the antitheft system), message sending
through the telephone may be postponed with respect to other means of local alarm signalling, such as sirens and
blinkers. The call delay does not apply to the events of the “Robbery” type.
To actuate a call delay, proceed as follows:
1. type in the Installer code (factory setting: 000000), then press
ENTER
twice.
2. The following message will appear on the display:
Press ► until the message below appears:
Then press
ENTER
to confirm.
3. The following message will appear on the display:
Press ▼ until the message below appears:
where “nn” indicates the seconds’ delay, then press
ENTER
to confirm.
4. Use button ▼ to select the new delay (0 to 90 seconds, by 10 second steps), then confirm by pressing
ENTER
.
5. Press
EXIT
to exit the menu.
2.14.5 TEST CALL
The test call allows you to check the operation of the telephone numbers set. The test acts as a real alarm event
and is stopped only when all the telephone numbers have been called successfully (unanswered telephone
numbers will be called again).
To make a test call, proceed as follows:
1. type in the Installer code (factory setting: 000000), then press
ENTER
twice.
2. The following message will appear on the display:
