2.13 SYSTEM OPTIONS
Below are the system options that can be configured:
•
Key
, for mechanic key control (Pulse or Bi-static mode).
•
Buzzer
, to enable or disable (i.e. leave out) the signalling through the keyboard buzzer.
•
Pre-alarm
, to enable or disable the keyboard buzzer signalling for entry or exit time elapsing. The exit frequency
is 1 beep per second; the entry frequency is 2 beeps per second.
•
Type of actuation
, to determine the control unit behaviour if inputs in alarm condition (e.g. doors left open) are
detected upon actuation. The actuation lock, in the presence of inputs in alarm condition, avoids generating
false alarms. Possible modes include:
Standard (Std)
: the antitheft system will in any case be actuated, and all the preset alarms will be actuated if
open inputs are found.
Self-exclusion (AEX)
: the inputs in alarm condition will be automatically excluded when the system is
actuated. Self-exclusion is temporary: if the input does not signal al alarm condition any longer (e.g. the door
is closed), it will be automatically included again. Using the keyboard for the purpose of actuation allows the
user to realize whether inputs in alarm condition (and, therefore, automatically excluded) are found.
•
Actuation lock (BLK)
: sectors, to which areas being opened at that time are associated, cannot be activated
neither from keyboard nor via key. If such activation is tried from keyboard, relevant warning is given on the
display and activation does not occur.
•
Masking
, i.e. the possibility of “concealing” (masking) the system status to unauthorized people when the exit
time expires (only the mains supply status will be visible on the keyboard). Also refer to paragraph
