4.8.9 High-pressure monitoring
The high-pressure (HP) is measured by a pressure transducer in the high-pressure line. Pressure monitoring is
also performed using the HP cutout and the high-pressure safety cutout (HPS cutout). They provide a digital
signal in the event of their tripping pressure being exceeded. These two signals are connected in series at the
digital input 1 (terminals 50/51). If the thresholds of the HPS cutout or HP cutout are exceeded, a forced
shutdown of all compressors takes place. After mechanical unlocking of the pressure switch, the compressors
are loaded again step by step. Further compressors are disabled after expiry of the basic unload time.
An exception is the heat recovery mode. No compressor shedding is performed in this operating mode. If the
pressure threshold is reached, no additional compressor is loaded even if there is a requirement. At least 1
compressor remains in operation in each temperature range. The disabling of the compressors starts in the
circuit (Z1/Z2) where the most compressors are loaded.
