Operation 33

Film Routing For Top and Bottom Inverter Rods

Use this diagram to route the top film over, then under the top inverter rod; and the

bottom film under, then over the bottom inverter rod.

11. Adjust the height of the adjustable centering roller and separator rod if necessary

to the center of the vertical distance between the two inverter rods. (See the

figure near the top of the previous page.)

12. Match the top sheet and bottom sheet of the film to guide the leading end of the

film toward the sealing area.

13. Pull the film to the left to the L-sealing area and lift the lever to release the pinch

rollers. The pinch rollers are two large blue rollers that feed the film into the scrap

chain.

CAUTION:

This is a pinch area. Take care to avoid pinching hands or

fingers while using the pinch wheel to secure the leading

film.
