Draining Product
At the end of each day of operation, the freezer must be rinsed, sanitized, and
disassembled. The parts also must be washed, rinsed, sanitized, and prepared for
reassembly.
Your freezer is designed for cleaning
MTS pumps with or without Cabinet
refrigeration. Use the Cabinet
refrigeration if the mix bags will not be
removed from shelves during cleaning.
These instructions will provide steps and
notations for:
Cleaning with Mix Stored on Shelf -
If
cabinet is clean and has no mix spills,
perform these functions
Cleaning with Mix Stored in remote
Cooler
- If mix has been splashed/spilled
on shelf and on Cabinet walls, perform
these functions.
To remove frozen product from the
cylinder
1. Press the L1 & R1 keys to enter
“CLEAN” mode.
2. Cleaning with Mix Stored on Shelf
Press UP Arrow to engage Cabinet
Refrigeration
3. In “CLEAN” mode, press L1 & R1 to
turn the beaters ON. Disconnect the
mix senor leads from top of Cabinet
4. Let the beaters run for 5 minutes.
This will allow the product in the
cylinders to soften.
5. In the cabinet, disconnect bag adapter
from bag and place in clean rinse
bucket. With a clean bag cap, cap
unused mix in bag.
4a. Cleaning with Mix Stored on Shelf
Install stainless air curtain, stored
on CAB door, in front of shelves in
slots provided. This will maintain
refrigerated air to mix while main CAB
door is open. See Figure 11-3 for
installed view.
