CAUTION
To avoid electrical shock or
contact with moving parts,
make sure all controls are in
the “OFF” position and that the
main power switch is turned
“OFF”. Some freezers have
more than one disconnect
switch.
CAUTION
Make sure freezer is
depressurized before
proceeding.
CAUTION
To prevent bacteria growth,
remove ALL o-rings when
disassembling for cleaning.
Failure to do so could create a
health hazard.
1. If there is product in the freezer, refer
to Sec. 9 Closing Procedures, 9.1
Draining Product. Take the following
items to the cleaning sink
2. (See figure 8-2.) Remove the spigot
rods (5) by lifting up out. Remove
the hand knobs (9) and pull the
dispensing head (1) straight out.
3. Remove the cylinder bushings and
beater shafts from the cylinders.
4. Remove the scraper blades and shaft
seals from the beater shafts. Remove
the drip tray and drip tray insert.

Your freezer is designed for cleaning
MTS pumps with or without Cabinet
refrigeration. Use the Cabinet
refrigeration if the mix bags will not
be removed from shelves during
cleaning. These instructions will
provide steps and notations for:
Cleaning with Mix Stored in
drawers
- If cabinet is clean and has
no mix spills, perform these functions
Cleaning with Mix Stored in remote
Cooler
- If mix has been splashed/
spilled on shelf and on Cabinet walls,
perform these functions.
