SPA Actuator with Intelli-Motion™ Technology Manual R00

Once the optimal mounting arrangement has been determined, mount Duff-Norton electromechanical actuators by
slipping a solid pin through the translating tube clevis and rear housing clevis. The pins must be parallel to each other to
avoid binding. The actuator restraining brackets and related hardware must be able to withstand the torque generated by
the actuator as it extends and retracts. Restraining torque varies with actuator family.
