A.2.7 Disassembly of the Temperature Sensor

Preparation:
●
Disconnect the dispenser from the mains
supply and open the water supply valve.
●
Remove the front part (see pg. 5.G-3).
●
Loosen the screw at the splash panel and
open the splash panel by pressing it
downwards.
●
Drain the boiler (see pg. 5.A-5)
CAUTION: There is the danger of being
scalded by hot water.
Disassembly:
●
Pull the temperature sensor (1) from the
inside out of the boiler. (Fig. 1)
●
Disconnect the electrical cable from the
temperature sensor.
●
Replace the temperature sensor.
When installing the new boiler sealing
for temperature sensor, the washer,
and the temperature sensor, observe
the following:
• Place the corrosion-resistant washer
(2) on the boiler sealing for
temperature sensor (3) (Fig. 2).
• Install the boiler sealing for temperature
sensor (3) into the boiler insulation (4)
and the boiler (5), so that an air-tight
seal is formed with the boiler insulation.
(Fig. 3)
• Place the plug of the cable harness
for temperature sensor on the
contacts of the temperature sensor.
• Insert the temperature sensor for boiler
(1) into the boiler sealing for temperature
sensor (3) until the stop, so that inside
an air-tight seal is formed with the boiler
sealing. (Fig. 4)
CAUTION: When mounting, ensure that
the temperature sensor (1) is
inserted sufficiently deep into
the seal. (Fig. 4)
