INFORMATION

When you select [Security on] and from the Home screen,
→ [Settings] → [Security] → Mark [Power button instantly
locks], the screen is locked by pressing
P
/the fingerprint
sensor soon. To cancel the screen lock, authentication is
needed.
･
When you operate from the Home screen, → [Settings] →
[Security] → Mark [Slide left to activate camera], on the lock
screen, flick left to display camera startup screen.

Setting wallpaper on the lock screen
Set wallpaper for lock screen.

Enter owner information

If [Show owner info on lock screen] is unmarked, mark
it.
◆ Security lock
By setting to require authentication on the locked screen, you
can prevent others from misusing the terminal.

Setting security unlock preference
Set type of authentication operation for unlocking the screen
lock.

From the Home screen, → [Settings] →
[Security]
→
[Security unlock preference]

Authenticate

To set for the first time, authentication is not required.

Select an unlock preference
Pattern : Set to unlock by a pattern connecting at least 4
points.
Security code : Set to unlock by a security code ( 4- to 16-
digit number).
Password : Set to unlock by a password (which consists of
4 to 16 alphanumerics/symbols).
Fingerprint : Set to unlock by fingerprint authentication.

For using fingerprint authentication, confirm the
precautions (
→ P137) and then register fingerprint.

To set security unlock preference for the first time after
fingerprint is registered, tap [Fingerprint] and
authenticate with fingerprint.
Face recognition : Set to unlock by face recognition. For
other security unlock except screen lock, use the unlock
preference selected for backup lock.
