47. ANTI-FREEZE/SUPPORT HEATERS REGULATOR
47.1 HEATER OUTPUT WORKING IN COOLING OR HEATING MODE
Par.
Ar10
Determines the working of the anti-freeze heaters when the device is in cooling or heating working
mode.
0= always off (cooling and heating)
1= on only in cooling mode depending on the request of the heat regulator
2= on only in heating mode depending on the request of the heat regulator
3= on in cooling and heating mode depending on the request of the heat regulator
Par.
Ar11
Determines the working of the anti-freeze heaters when the device is in stand-by or OFF from
remote working mode.
0= always off
1= on only on the request of the heat regulator
47.2 TEMPERATURE CONTROL IN COOLING MODE
With the Par. Ar06 select the probe/s where to perform temperature control in cooling mode
Ar06=0 temperature control disabled
Ar06=1 regulates on evaporator inlet
Ar06=2 regulates on evaporator 1/2 output. If both are configured and only one present regulates only on the
circuit where the probe is present, the other remains uncovered
Ar06=3 regulates on evaporator 3/4 output. If both are configured and only one present regulates only on the
circuit where the probe is present, the other remains uncovered
Ar06=4 regulates on 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 evaporator outlet
Ar06=5 regulates on evaporator 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 output and common output. If all 5 are configured on the basis of
the probe present, it regulates per circuit or on the unit (common)
47.3 TEMPERATURE CONTROL IN HEATING MODE
With the Par. Ar07 select the probe/s where to perform temperature control in heating mode
Ar07=0 temperature control disabled
Ar07=1 regulates on evaporator inlet
Ar07=2 regulates on evaporator 1/2 output. If both are configured and only one present regulates only on the
circuit where the probe is present, the other remains uncovered
Ar07=3 regulates on evaporator 3/4 output. If both are configured and only one present regulates only on the
circuit where the probe is present, the other remains uncovered
Ar07=4 regulates on 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 evaporator outlet
Ar07=5 regulates on evaporator 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 output and common output. If all 5 are configured on the basis of
the probe present, it regulates per circuit or on the unit (common)
The working is the same for both parameters, the resistance/es activate when one of the probes enabled for
temperature control arrives at the set and it/they deactivate when the temperature exceeds the set + the
regulation band.
47.4 TEMPERATURE CONTROL OF THE AIR/AIR UNIT HEATERS
It depends on the configuration of the relay outputs configured as circuit heater and by the choice of the NTC
probe/s configured as common evaporator output prepared for their control.
With a relay output configured as heater, 1 hot step is enabled in cooling and heating working mode. With 4
relay outputs configured as heaters, 4 hot steps are enabled in cooling and in heating mode.
WORKING OF THE SUPPORT HEATERS DURING THE DEFROST CYCLE
The parameter Ar05 establishes working of the support heaters during the defrost cycle. If the value is 0
during the defrost cycle the heaters are only activated by their temperature control. If the value is 1, the
heaters are always on during the defrost cycle:
they switch on when the reversing valve converts working from heating to cooling and they switch off when
the dripping time has ended and the compressor re-starts.
WARNING:
the support
heaters
are always off if the
supply
fan is off. If the unit is in stand-by or OFF remote
and also in the case of breakdown of the probe prepared for their control, even if the Par Ar09=1
