ATTENTION DANGER OF ACCIDENT!
Machine must always be turned off
when handling protection devices. Nev-
er use machine with wrongly mounted
or dismantled protection devices. Check
before use if all screws of protection
devices are tight and grinding cup and
grinding wheel turn freely (do not scrape
protection devices).
Plane grinding
The grinding cup for plane grinding is cov-
ered, for your safety, by a protection ring
(2087-1)
. The protection ring prevents user
from reaching for the rotating grinding cup
and that grinding particles fling off radially.
ATTENTION!
Before every use check that
the clamping screw

is tight and grinding
cup turns freely (does not scrape against
protection ring) and if the distance to front
side of grinding cup is properly adjusted
(max. 2mm).

tion should only jut approx. 2mm out of pro-
tection ring
(2087-1)
.
As the grinding cup wears out, the protec-
tion ring must always be correspondingly
readjusted. For this purpose, loosen clamp-
ing screw
(16)
and slide protection ring to
corresponding position. Tighten clamping
screw firmly.
When the protection ring has been shifted
so far that it lies flat against the side wall of
grinding motor and the distance of grinding
cup does not have above mentioned gap,
means that the grinding cup is completely
worn out.
ATTENTION!
A damaged or worn out grind-
ing cup must be exchanged before further
use of machine (see chapter 10.1).
Clean the protection ring at every read-
justment. Loosen clamping screw
(16)
and
pull out protection ring. Also clean space
between grinding cup and inner protection
ring mounted on side wall (e.g. with a flat
brush). After cleaning, oil guide rods of pro-
tection ring. Use for example a cloth soaked
with Ballistol oil. Reassemble the protection
ring as mentioned above.
ATTENTION DANGER D’ACCIDENT! La

de protection! Jamais utiliser la machi-
ne sans les dispositifs de protection ou
quand monté incorrectement. Avant cha-
que emploi contrôler si les vis des dis-
positifs de protection sont serrées et les
meules tournent librement (ne frottent
pas contre les dispositifs de protection).
Station de surfaçage
Pour votre sécurité, la meule est couverte
par l’anneau de protection
(2087-1)
. L’an-
neau de protection empêche que l’utilisa-
teur touche la meule tournante et que les
particules d’affûtage s’énlancent en direc-
tion radiale.
ATTENTION!
Contrôler avant chaque em-
ploi de la machine si la vis
(16)
est ferme-
ment serrée, la meule tourne librement (ne
touche pas l’anneau de protection) et si l’es-
pacement au front de la meule (max. 2 mm)
est bien ajusté.
La meule

ne doit pas dépasser que 2 mm en dehors
de l’anneau de protection
(2087-1)
.
À mesure que la meule s’use, l’anneau de
protection doit être réajusté. Pour ceci,
ouvrir la vis
(16)
et glisser à la position cor-
respondante. Serrer fermement à nouveau.
Quand l’anneau de protection est complè-
tement déplacé jusqu’au côté latéral du mo-
teur d’affûtage, et la distance de la meule
n’à plus la fente mentionnée, signifie que la
meule est usée et doit être échangée.
ATTENTION!
Une meule abîmée ou usée
doit être échangée avant de réemployer la
machine (voir chapitre 10.1).
Nettoyer l’anneau de protection à chaque
réajustage. Desserrer la vis
(16)
et enlever
l’anneau de protection. Nettoyer également
l’espace entre la meule et l’interieur de l’an-
neau de protection monté au mur latéral
(par exemple avec un pinceau plat). Après
le nettoyage, graisser les tiges de guidage
de l’anneaux de protection. Employer par
example un torchon impregné avec de l’hui-
le Ballistol. Remonter l’anneau de protection
comme décrit avant.

muss beim Hantieren an den Schutzein-
richtungen immer ausgeschaltet sein.
Benutzen Sie niemals die Maschine mit
falsch oder abmontierten Schutzeinrich-
tungen. Prüfen Sie vor jeder Benutzung,
ob alle Schrauben der Schutzeinrich-
tungen fest angezogen sind und Schleif-
topf und Schleifscheibe frei läuft (nicht
an den Schutzeinrichtungen streift).
Planschleifstation
Der Schleiftopf für die Planschleifstation
ist zu Ihrer Sicherheit mit einem Schutzring
(2087-1)
abgedeckt. Der Schutzring verhin-
dert, dass der Benutzer auf den rotierenden
Schleiftopf greifen kann bzw. Schleifpartikel
radial weggeschleudert werden können.
ACHTUNG!
Prüfen Sie vor jeder Benutzung
der Maschine, ob die Klemmschraube

fest angezogen ist und der Schleiftopf frei
läuft (nicht an dem Schutzring streift) und
ob der Abstand zur Schleiftopf-Stirnseite
(max. 2 mm) richtig eingestellt ist.
Der Schleiftopf
(2560)
der Planschleifstati-
on darf nur ca. 2mm über den Schutzring
(2087-1)
heraus stehen.
Da sich der Schleiftopf abnutzt, muss der
Schutzring stets entsprechend nachgestellt
werden. Dazu die Klemmschraube
(16)
öff-
nen und Schutzring in die entsprechende
Position schieben. Klemmschraube wieder
fest anziehen.
Wenn der Schutzring soweit verschoben
ist, dass dieser an der Schleifmotor-Seiten-
wand anliegt und der Schleiftopf-Abstand
nicht mehr dem oben genannten Abstand
entspricht, ist der Schleiftopf abgenutzt.
ACHTUNG!
Ein beschädigter oder abge-
nutzter Schleiftopf muss vor einer weiteren
Benutzung der Maschine ausgetauscht
werden (siehe Kapitel 10.1).
Reinigen Sie den Schutzring bei jeder
Nachjustierung. Dazu Klemmschraube
(16)
öffnen und Schutzring heraus ziehen. Reini-
gen Sie dabei auch den Zwischenraum zwi-
schen Schleiftopf und dem inneren, mit der
Seitenwand fest verbundenen, Schutzring
(z.B. mit einem flachen Pinsel). Ölen Sie die
Führungsstangen des Schutzringes nach
jeder Reinigung ein (z. B. mittels einem mit
Ballistolöl getränkten Lappen). Montieren
Sie den Schutzring wieder wie vor beschrie-
ben.
