Analog signal capture
Signal Capture permits studying internal In-Phase and Quadrature signals of device’s radio.
Open “Analog Signal Capture” panel by choosing “
Signal Capture” in the “Radio” menu.
12.2.1
Capturing signal
Signal capture requires a very high amount of data to be transferred each second.
Consequently, you should connect on device’s Ethernet interface before
capturing signal.
To capture and study the analog signal on a specific channel:
1.
Define RF channels configuration (see section 7 for more information).
2.
Click
button in the toolbar to turn the radio field on.
CAUTION: Make sure an antenna is connected to channels you use before
turning the radio field on; otherwise it may severely damage the device.
3.
Choose a sample rate and define capture and display settings (see next section).
4.
Click
to begin signal capture.
If the radio field is turned off, DIALOC ID MCQ-Pro will ask you to turn it on;
click “OK” to accept. Again, make sure an antenna is connected to the channel
before accepting.
5.
Place a tag in the radio field if you have enabled “Wake Up Tags” capture setting.
6.
Click
button in the toolbar when you are finished reading. You may
want to turn the radio field off as well by clicking
button.
