Radio Event Panels
Radio event panels display events received from device’s radio during default read.
Radio event panels are automatically opened when you start reading depending on enabled
radio events (see 8.2.3 for more information). You can manually open radio event panels from
“Radio > Default Read” menu.
8.3.1
Tag Read Events
You can open “
Tag Read Events” panel from “Radio > Default Read” menu.
A “Tag Read” event occurs each time a tag is detected in radio field. Each “Tag Read” event
makes corresponding tag appear in “Read Events” panel.
Figure 41: Read Events panel
The embedded toolbar allows you to open “Statistics” panel (see section 8.4 for more
information) and to select all, copy some or clear all rows from the event list.
Each read event has the following fields:
“Data” contains data received from the tag.
“Type” contains tag type.
“Ch. n” contains read count of the tag on channel #n.
“All Ch.” contains total read count of the tag.
“Signal Level” contains the level in percent of the signal received from the tag. You
can filter tags with a low signal level by setting the “Signal level threshold” parameter
corresponding to their type (see section 9 for more information).
“Last Device”/”Last Time” contains last device and time this tag was read on.
Below the event list, an embedded status bar contains the following fields:
“Tags Read” shows number of tags read so far.
“Read Rate” shows number of tag events per second.
“Elapsed Time” shows time having elapsed since read has started.
The gauge on the right side displays the filling level of radio’s internal event buffer. If
this gauge reaches 100% some events may be lost.
